The ace team
Ace Adventure, established in 1999, is headed by Joanne Soo together with a team of specialists who are dedicated climbers and adventure sport athletes.

The leader
Joanne is a sport climbing and abseiling instructor and a mountain expedition leader. She is also an active mountaineer and has traveled around Asia like Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Iran, China and Nepal in pursuit of her vertical dreams. She has a keen interest in adventure racing and has been actively promoting adventure sports to the local sporting community.  

Joanne's technical qualifications includes Sport Climbing Category II Instructor (Singapore Mountaineering Federation), International Judge - Sport Climbing (International Mountaineering Federation - UIAA), Abseiling Proficiency Level III Leader (People's Association - Outward Bound Singapore), High Ropes Instructor (Ministry of Education), Overseas Expedition Leaders (People's Association), National Coaching Accreditation Programme [NCAP] Theory Course Level One (Singapore Sports Council), Wilderness First Aid responder (Wilderness First Aid Associates - Australia), Standard First Aid & CPR (Singapore Red Cross Society)

Prior to setting up Ace Adventure, Joanne worked with SAFRA and has organised many national events such as the Army Half Marathon & Sheares Bridge Run, National Runway Cycling and National Sport Climbing Championship from 1992 - 2000.   She was an active volunteer with the Youth Executive Committee (YEC) at Tiong Bahru Community Centre Youth Group from 1990-1996.   Joanne is currently servicing as a volunteer member with the SAFRA Adventure Club Committee, reshaping the direction and provides technical expertise for the club's activities.

Joanne has facilitated adventure based programme for groups spanning from secondary & Junior College to polytechnic students; executive staff to middle management.   She is motivated by her passion for the sport and her desire to share her knowledge and skills with others.

Our team of specialists comprises experienced climbers, mountaineers and athletes of various adventure sports who hold fulltime profession in the field of Education, Information Technology, Event Management, Engineering, Nursing, and Customer Service.
